Does PrayFr actually block apps?
Yes. PrayFr uses Apple's Screen Time framework to shield the apps you choose. Open one and PrayFr's shield appears instead — today's verse and a prayer. Once you've prayed, your apps open for the rest of the day. Blocking is included free, on every plan.
Can PrayFr see which apps I block?
No. Apple hands us sealed tokens, not app names. Your selection is stored on your device and never sent to us, to analytics, or to anyone else. We genuinely cannot see it.
Is PrayFr free?
Yes. Free includes app blocking, one prayer a day, the daily verse, Psalms and Proverbs, one Scripture question a day, and one grace day a month. Pro unlocks unlimited prayers, all 66 books, unlimited Scripture chat, and three grace days a month.
What if I miss a day?
Spend a grace day and your streak stays whole. You get one a month on free, three on Pro, and they refill on the 1st. Grace days cover a missed God Mode day too.
What if I need an app urgently?
Pray, and it opens in seconds. Or turn blocking off entirely in You → Blocking → Turn off blocking. That's one tap, it's on every plan, and it never costs anything.
What denominations is this for?
PrayFr is non-denominational and Bible-first. It works for Protestants, Catholics, Orthodox, or anyone exploring faith.
Will my prayers stay private?
Always. We never read your conversations or share data with third parties beyond what's needed to run the app.
What translations do you support?
King James Version and the World English Bible. Both are included free.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → PrayFr → Cancel. We won't charge you after that.
Is there an Android version?
PrayFr is iOS-only. App blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time framework, which has no Android equivalent.
